I'm looking for a long (~3-5m) Ultrasone cable (for the pro series phone, pro900 in my case) and the only ones I can find are (for me) too darn expensive. Obviously these cables are parts of the "high end" market, but I just basically wants something comparable to the stock cable, but longer
 
(I know, I could get an extension cord, but in my head less interconnects would be better)

I don't know if there are aftermarket cables like this.
 
You could look for a DIY-ler to make you a custom one.

Get a cheap extension cord and see if you can hear the difference- bet you can't.
