I've owned these for a while and like them allot. There are definitly some things to consider though. One you will need a headphone amp but it can be a cheap portable one. Two the headband pad needs to be replaced with an sennheiser hd650 headband pad. Three you need to put in a layer of dynamat extreme to get some sub-bass. And fourth you will need high quality tracks. Beatport is 320kbps and .wav. Redeyerecords.co.uk and breakbeat.co.uk have 3 options from 192kbps to .wav format if you are into techno. I personally go with 320.

Just wikipedia'd itunes. Looks like u got six options. I would go fo the 320 cbr. mp3.

I'm not too sure is there different type of cd quality but so far i rip from cd only
