I taugt I would make a new thread so I can get a comparison as I am interested in a headphone with excellent bass I mean monstrous bass and good soundstage.

I liked the HD555 and as such I want something like them except with much more bass.

I do not want anything that sounds like a studio monitor I want something with soundstage and acoustics that can make my music enjoyable.

Also can you tell me how the Denon D2000 compare to the Dt770 and 780?

If you want truly monstrous bass, only the DT770 PRO 80 will deliver. The 2005 "Consumer" DT770 isn't a bass monster at all - FAR from it.

The D2000 is an excellent headphone, better as an all around can than the 770 Pro80, and certainly has ample bass, but not "Monstrous".

Well buddy I do not mind buying the D2000 however the price is beyond this planet. My credit card has a limit of $220 US to begin with.

And I do not have $300 US to spend on a D2000. Sadly Denon never realized this that maby just maby middle class people cannot afford such ridiculous prices. Thats why I was leaning towards the HiFi 780.

I find it so unfair that these stores charge so much for these items when they know clearly how much people would appreciate buying something good.

Life really is not fair, if it was fair I would get a deal on a Denon D2000 for $200 US. That D2000 was what I wanted all my life ever since the first day I set my eyes on them but I could never afford it cause I cannot spend more than $200 US ish on a headphone.

Well, since you want a bass monster anyway, get the DT770 Pro 80 - I think you will like them, and they are in your price range. The HFI 780 also have a healthy amount of bass. They are much less comfortable than the 770's, and have a much more aggressive overall sound, so consider if you want that sort of sound or not. The 770/80 are much more laid back.

The Pro is way to expensive

BEYER DYNAMIC DT770-Pro is $230 US on Amazon.

My max budget is about $200.

so far the only thing I see for $200 is the hiFi 780 but from what I heard they do not have soundstage and they are uncomfortable and are to harsh and upfront.

My last hope now is a Denon D2000 for $200 US but none in stock right now nowhere in the world that has them for that price.
Apparently Denon closed down and went out of business, either that or they decided to stop making D2000.

If a 15% increase is way too expensive, you are a the wrong website. Leave now, with your wallet intact.

Cool well that eliminates the AT. This leaves us with the D2000 and 780 hifi and DT770.

One thing for sure the 780 looks really sweet. So I guess if I do not get the D2000 the 780 may do just good for me

I also got the DT-770/80 Pro from ebay two days ago for $149 shipped. Also look at B&H Photo Video. They have them for $189 shipped and take credit card. The ebay seller that has them for $149 also has a real store, not just an ebay store. I bet if you contacted him he would let you pay with a credit card over the phone.
