I just ordered a set of Ultrasone HiFi 2400. I am planning on producing electronic music from my mac, with some heavy bass. It's not dubstep but somewhere close. 
 
My question is, What would be the best option to drive these headphones, or will they play perfect from my mac and iPhone? Do I need to buy a DAC and/or Amp to make them sound better? What are my options with these headphones.

They need an amp--but I can't help with any portable recommendations, as I don't have any.
