I heard alot about the ultrasone's 580 about there good punchy balance bass.
 
I bring the beats pro into the conversation because i owned a pair but they got messed up, i loved my beats pro there bass , how loud they were and i really did love everything about them , im no headphone geek either so i really dont know much , and i know beats are expensive cans but i got them of craigslist for 200$. I listen to 95% hip hop and some techno.

i want to know the difference of the bass in both and if the ultrasone's come close to the beats punchy bass ???

Sorry for bringing up a late thread, but I have hfi 580 and compared them to the beats pro. The HFI 580 have the same quantity bass as the pros, but much better quality and detail. The 580s bass is even punchier than the pros, and much much better detail and fullness in the mids and highs. The hfi 580 is a fantastic value, and they are less than half the price retail.
