There's a lot more to consider. Budget for one. Emphasis of what you're listening for in house music (Bass? Mid-bass? Detail? etc). Isolation? Sound stage? A combination of everything in a ratio?
For example, straight away, I think the Denon D2000 is better than the HFI 580 every way, but still isn't the best for House music.
I've seen your posts everywhere so I'm going to pose this question straight to you.
I want headphones in ~100$ range. I listen to deep house / disco which throws a lotta emphasis on the sub-bass and packs tight basslines. I want closed-back ones. So far I've seen raves about the HF 580, HD 25-I, ATH M50 (and all the ones below) consistently. Some other contenders are JVC RX900, KRK KNS 6400 and M-Audio Q40.
Please clear this confusion up, and tell me according my style and budget, what's the best choice for me?
