This is a wonderful combination. I started off with just the headphones and was pleasantly pleased with them but it wasn't until I got the soundcard setup correctly that I was amazed. Once I got the settings in to the card for headphones to utilize the built in amp it is an amazing experience. Such clean strong bass with clean mids and sharp highs. I almost thought I had gone wrong and should have gone with the Beats Pro but this combination completely blows the Beats Pro headphones away, there is not contest that 580's are far superior and better priced. I recommend them to anyone that really enjoys so hard thumping bass and clean overall sound. I might try using a portable DAC + Amp in the future but I am completely satisfied for the moment.
