also do all these phones come with a 3.55 or a 6.3mm jack, he would probably need the 3.55 to use with ipod,, which modell runs the best on ipod, will it eat too much power, will ipod not offer enough power or be loud enough,

Take a look here for all the specs and which are open and closed. The 650 is a closed design and offers great isolation.

The special price for the 2200 is now over as we sold all of those. We have a few 650's we can still honor at the sale price.
All come with a 1/4" plug adapter over a 1/8" plug at the amp side. So it can be used for ipod or larger jack systems.
