So I'm kinda split where to put this.  High end, full sized cans but I feel it's a more portable related question - if a mod objects please feel free to move it.
 
I am considering a pair of Edition 8s for my commute but am concerned about rubbing the leather headband against my styled hair on a daily basis.  Does anyone do this?  Does it do any damage to the leather?  I can't say I noticed anything when doing this with the plastic headband on a pair of ATH-ES7s, but they aren't leather...
