Ultimate Love Song...

Hey c'mon. I thought I told you guys, it's Let Me Put My Love Into You by AC/DC.

I don't know about love songs, but a very sexy and cheeky song would be Breakfast in Bed by Dusty Springfield.

Northern Sky is literally fantastic. The first time I heard it, it hooked me. It also helped that I was watching an amazing fireworks show at the same time.

how about that jonathan richman cd?

I actually ended up with the DVD-Audio release "home of the hits" which I think pre-dates the other comp you have. This was "love at first hear" for me. I've always read about him, but never owned any of his music. After this, I'm definitely a "fan" and have to explore further. he's just great.

From the modern side of RnB/Soul, Maxwell's first album Urban Hang Suite...somewhat of a concept album, which starts with the courting phase, goes through the lovemaking, on to the loneliness when she's gone, and ends with the reunion/proposal.

It's all about looooooooooove baby. Dig it.

Stand out songs include:

5 - Dancewitme
6 - Till the cops come knockin'
7 - Whenever wherever whatever

for deep sensuous love making, it'd have to be Gato Barbieri's "Europa (Earth's Cry Heaven's Smile)". 7502-13247-2

Can hardly go wrong when you get the Led out...

how about Dazed and Confused?

"lots of people talking, but few of them know...soul of a woman was created below"

sounds like love to me.

Ok, and to the morons who listed Led Zeppelins songs, I think you missed the message. "Dazed and Confused", are you smoking something??

Anyway, for REAL love songs:

You're All I Need To Get By - Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell

Ain't No Mountain High Enough - Diana Ross

You and I - Stevie Wonder
I Believe (When I Fall In Love With You It Will Be Forever) - Stevie again

the Isley's "for the love of you"
