Just recieved my Ultimate Ears Triplefi 10s. While I love them, the cables are frankly awful. They are glossy black plastic, prone to puncture marks where the memory wire for the ear hooks end, and hold the bends in them where they were packaged. Looking to replace them, I've come to sunricky's "dark lord" or "white angel" cables. Is there a difference between these two cables, or is it simply the color?

Also, I hear that silver cables bring out the mids in the TF10s. I assume I would need to replace the stock cable connecting my amp to my DAP. Ideas on a cable for this? I figure the SQ is on the weakest link in your cable...
