Hi there, my local headphone shop somehow got hold of the last stock of the famous Tiple-fi 10 but they also have it's successor the UE 900 and both of them are within my budget although the UE 900 is a little bit more expensive.

So my question is which one do you think I should get? Hopefully someone who has tried out both of these IEM extensively can give me some feedback. Thanks

After being a very pleased owner of the Triplefi;s for many years......

I gave the UE900 a shot..... and I did not like them so I returned them.

Too flat ( less bass and less treble) for my taste out of Ipod Touch V with no eq.

Just my 2 cents

Haha did you guess it? or dud u see it on my post? XD

I decided to go for the Triple vi 10 after doing some research also the fact that today my local shop had a big slash discount so I got this plus a DX 50 which should arrive next week :D

Stalking jaben to see what discount they were going to give

Haha ya I know what you mean but I am not really a big fan of Shure as I have just upgraded from the Shure 215 to Triple vi 10, I've tried their flagship Shure 535 and just dint find too much of a difference between those and my 215, guess I just needed a different sound signature.

IMO the tf10 and the ue900 have somewhat the same kind of sound quality. if you can buy the tf10 for a decent price with the money you saved you could buy a decent cable for them.

i find the tf10 to have better build quality over the ue900.

also i hate the mmcx connector of the ue900 vs the pin connector of the tf10.

the only problem one might come into witrh the tf10 is the fit. for me they fit perfectly. others not so much but its hit or miss you might find the tf10 to fit excellent maybe not.

the tf10 when i had them, were a fun iem, i liked the sound wish i would have kept mine.

IMO you should try both and find which one is better but TF10Pro offers more bass, more pronounced highs and UE900 is overall flat and more resolving.

I have actually tried both of these IEM, I just wanted to ask for the community's feedback. You are right about the UE900 being really flat compared to the bright sound of the TF10Pro, but I prefer TF10Pro plus with the heavy discount for them it was a no brainier for me to get the Tiple10Pro.

My next upgrade would be very first custom IEM (JH Audio  am looking at you :D)

Wow that is quite the opposite from what I heard, the Triple10Pro has a really bad build especially when you compare it to the UE900. Personally I just don't like the fact that the body sticks out from your ears like a sore thumb :P

Why din't you keep the TF10? what did you upgrade it to?
