I travel extensively throughout Asia and I currently have Ety ER4S, the original Airhead, and a Sony D-265 PCDP.
I want to upgrade the amp and PCDP, and luckily money is not a big problem.
Any suggestions on what to buy?

For best sound, I would agree with Shivohum (although I use as Sony CPD and an AA Dac-Man). THat's my "large" portable set-up, but it's not good for planes or things like that, it a great "destination" system.
For plane use I like ultimate portablility, I use a Sony MD player (the R-909), a tiny amp (a JMT built CHA47, thanks again JMT), and the etys whole setup can be carried in a bag not much larger than a pack of cigarettes (fotr those of you who unfortunately remember). Case Logic makes a few nice little bags for MD players and discs.
