Hi all

I hope to be purchasing an ipod real soon.
I have already purchased Shure E2c earphones based on reviews and
the fact that these are the best I can afford.

I listen to mostly dance music like : Techno, Trance, RnB

If I decide to modify them, via the Sony earphones option.
Where can i purchase the Sony bits in UK?
I don't really want to buy the sony earphones just for the mod.
I'd rather spend the money on new high heels!

Is there anyone from UK that has done this modification?
Id like to try this cheap \ easy mod purely for fun and if it
does improve my listening pleasure....then all the better!

as an Ohioan i can't help you with finding the parts, but it is definitely worth it to do the mod. good luck!

Getting the Sony earbuds can be both difficult and expensive. You could try the Shure e3 ultra-soft flex sleeves from here:

Many people have been happy with this mod, but it does require a bit of stretching to get the tip on.
