Hi, i've decided to get my music system insured, because i consider my headphones and amplifier "Rare" the insurance company said they must have a valuation. Does anyone know a company in the UK who could value a Melos amp and Grado PS-1 headphones

Hi, has anyone else had problems when they've tried to insure their audio kit? I cant find anyone to value it and the insurance company said im not covered till i do

Even you do that and then you lose your headphones they could only give you some compensation. They can't get you another pair, right?

I would suggest contacting the manufacturers - explain the situation and ask them to e-mail you something on company letterhead with what they consider the insurance value of your stuff is.

As your headphones are #9 I would have thought it may increase the value.
