Hi, I was wondering what the actual sound difference is between the UE5c and the UE5 pro's. They are both dual drivers and i'm just wondering why one is more expensive than the other.

The Ue-5 is a custom fit headphone. You send in ear canal impressions and they caste the drivers right into a custom plug for you. The SF5pros are a universal fit IEM.

I think he meant UE5Pro vs UE5c.

Yes, there are two versions of the UE5.

No, I don't really know the difference.

Hello.

If you look at the FAQ section on the UE website, they imply that the UE 5-pros are for professional/stage use while the UE 5c is for personal use.

"If you are a music lover who is looking to get the best sound out of your portable media player or home stereo system, please do not consider the UE-5 Ambient, the UE-7™ or the UE-5 Pro™. These are all professional application pieces. You will be best served by using the UE-5c™, UE-5 EB™ or the UE-10™."

They may have a bump in the midrange for vocalists.

The drivers are the same, I have the email someplace from UE rep. They should sound very similar but with some minor differences due to the enclosure/fit if your talking about the superfi's and the pro's. The 5c's I honestly don't know.
