I'm looking at getting some second hand canalphones for under US$90-100. I've seen both the UE and the Ety around this price range but I'm not sure which ones to go for? I've also found some ety er4p's within my price range but I"m not sure if I should get the p's given I'm going to use them with either my laptop or an mp3 player.

Any advice would be appreciated.

PS I'm in Australia so I need to include shipping in my cost condierations.

how are the er4p's going to go with an MP3 player with no amp? Is it just a matter of turning the volume up a little louder compared to the er4s'?
