does anyone else experience an almost distorted sound with foam comply tips? my highs get cut off and drown out really bad when i try and use them but they isolate outside noise so well. maybe im putting them in wrong or something. just wanted to see if anyone had any feed back

I believe all foam tips isolate the upper range. Try some of the plastic tips that came with them, or try the triple flange eartips. Rubber tips usually give better high presence. I know what you mean, but its foam for isolation, and rubber for sound quality.
