UE Custom Demo Units

UE11 Custom, UE5 Custom... How good are they... what if you chose the wrong one?

We have UE Csutom Demo versions. If you look at the picture above, you will see the tips are different. Yes, ithe actual thing will sound much better. But, these demo units will give you an indication of the sound signature.

I wish I cud have a go at these, really wanna see what people here think of them!

how do these compare to the normal range of UE tf10 and sf5p?

has anyone used these demo units before?

Australia isn't that far from Singapore...

... and possibly might be quite cheap if you take Jetstar/Tiger

for the money to go and test them, why not just buy some instead

well, they do look like UE tips, so it's probably from UE. \shrug. Anybody can compare with those at camjam?

I'll see if I can have a look (and listen!) tonight. Been quite busy lately but I can probably spare some time. Jaben had demos for custom IEM's before, especially made for demo purposes.

but the tax would probably be like the whole fare itself :p

I wish I could have a go at those...

I'm ok with taking a leap of faith, but it is $1000, and it would be nice to get an idea of what I'm getting into.

Are you in Los Angeles? Then see if Ultimate Ears will be at this year's LA and Orange County Audio Society's headphone meet. Last year Mike from UE brought all of UE's toys and demo units to the meet.
