Hi all. I just received a clear UE replacement cable for my UHP336 & the L/R channels are not marked on the cable. I know which channel is L/R from the source/song but I'm not sure how to determine whether or not they are in phase. Maybe just me but I can't hear a huge difference. There is a notch on the housing and I'm pretty sure it should face the inside of each headphone?!

BTW, the reviews I read are accurate, the cable is much more flexible than the original and it smells like skunk

Yeah, the notch should be facing in.

And they do smell like skunk, my kensington lock is like that as well, I guess it is the characteristic of that particular type of plastic/rubber or whatever that is.
