I just got my UE-11's and I'm worried the seal isn't right. I mean the bass is pretty good but there is this "airy" feeling that I didn't have with my E500's or e4c's...I am using the ambient feature so I know it's only -12db but right now the seal feels thinner than the E500's. I can't complain about the sound because it is fairly clear and the bass is present, but I'm worried the seal might not be right.

Gonna play around with them for a while and try using the -26db filters to see if they make any difference.

But I was just wondering if anyone else had any thougths or comments...

Whilst I haven't heard the UE's, I'd guess that it's the ambient feature that you are getting "air" from, especially if the bass seems fairly solid. I'd certainly try experimenting with that before going any further.
