This seems to be a common problem but I'm curious to find out just how common it is among the owners. I personally don't mind this too much, but with critical listening it is definitely noticeable. What about the rest of you?

I've never noticed it, and now that I have a dedicated amp my uDAC volume is turned too high for it to rear its head.

So for me? No.

No imbalance issue whatsoever with mine.

I've had two udacs, both of them had channel imbalance until about the 11 o clock position.

I've listened to 3 udacs and all were a bit louder on the left.

Biggie.

I suspect that the degree of the problem depends on the sensitivity of the headphones. For example my SE530 are incredibly sensitive and start to get uncomfortably loud past the 9 o'clock position. So it is a big problem since the channel imbalance is present until just before that. But I don't have that problem with any of my full sized headphones.

Is the left channel louder than the right?
