Meet scheduled for May 22nd from noon for a few hours at my place. it will end when people are finished and content with listening to the headphones (or when I want to sleep and have to shove everyone out the door.

wouldn't mind going on until 6 or 7pm though). I will send a PM with my address shortly, at least a few days before the meet date.

Participation capped at 10~12 until further notice. there are enough showing interest currently, but not all are confirmed... post anyways if you still want to come and we'll see what happens. you will be put on a wait list of sorts.

no food is planned (will have a few sodas though). but if anyone wants clean snacks maybe they can stop by a store on the way and get some (and we can chip in to offset the cost later on)... there are a lot of eateries within a few blocks of my place so you can always go there if you really get hungry.

There will be another meet on either June 26th or a Saturday after that. I will be in japan for the other saturdays. so unless I am not needed at the meet pick those dates.

post here if you would like to attend the meet, possible times that you can attend a meet, the gear that you will bring over, a location if you have any (currently we have either my apartment... or I can see about renting a place on campus or something), if you have or need transportation, and anything else that you want to say.

I am busy until May 18th due to finals and other activites so a meet will have to be after that if you want to include me. also, I may need transportation depending on the location (wish I had a car here).

so... let's get some possible dates set.

it looks like a saturday may be the best date... possibly after june 1st so ian can attend? at least propose times that you can make it since currently I have no clue who is free when. something like days of the week you can make it, what weeks are better than others... I would like the meet to be before the san jose one if possible. at least before the SoCal meet.

I wouldn't mind having more than one meet.

if all else fails, hopefully we'll have a two or three person meet at least.

and if anyone wants to hear my headphones... I currently only have one amplifier so that may be a problem. we'll work something out.

so... 17 hours since I have posted we already have 12 people either interested or will come to a meet. much more than I was expecting to say the least.

I'll have to see what options we have on locations, I think my apartment can handle the number of people, but I don't know for sure.

for now, I am limiting participation to 10 (maybe 12 if everyone that has shown interest already can come) until further notice on if I can get a larger location. there will be a backup list so sign up if you want to still come despite this.
