Wow, how'd that happen? I don't know of anyone actually swapping parts on the logic boards, just people replacing them. Maybe they replace actual parts at Apple's various repair centres, but for typical consumer-end repairs, I only know of people replacing the logic board. It'll probably run you a good 30 USD shipped on eBay, slightly more at a bonofied online shop. Replacement should be pretty painless if you can already get the thing open. I would personally get it at the online shops as opposed to eBay as I have received a lot of dud logic boards from there; as long as you're willing to hunt them down and get the service you deserve, you're good.
