To help re-educate and remind Americans of the true meaning of Memorial Day, the "National Moment of Remembrance" resolution was passed on Dec 2000 which asks that at 3 p.m. local time, for all Americans "To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to 'Taps."

To all in this world who have died to protect and defend freedom for others, thank you. This is not about politics, nationalism or religion. Its about humanity and the ability to live in one world together. May the sacrifices made by those who had their lives taken away not be wasted on ideology and prejudices.

Once the collective world of life is assured can we start to witness human's true capabilities. Everyone should be able to have health, education, sustinance, shelter, security. It should be a right of life because it is within our capabilities. I guess that don't make it a goal.

Sorry, alot of lives have been lost. Today makes me think of the reasons why we have to memorialize their losses.
