Hi, I'm new, is my first post. Just wondering if anyone else is running this type of a setup. It's SPDIF connection to the Turtle Beach DAC from the laptop and using the headphone jack on the TB unit to listen to the 598s. To me it sounds fantastic. I had originally bought the Turtle Beach for my XBOX360, but don't really use it much for that, so decided to try this on my laptop.

I literally just bought a Turtle Beach DSS from ebay to use with my PS3. It should get here monday. I don't have a optical to stereo converter so I will just have to give it a try using the typical male/male stereo cable. I've got the HD 598 too so I will tell ya what I think!

Sounds good (no pun). thanks. The cable I got was a 3.5mm to optical, so I could hook it up to my laptop. They are pretty easy to find on ebay or amazon for cheap.
