Hi, I've been thinking about buying a new turntable for awhile now.  The one I currently use (an Audio Technica which I think ran around $100) never was particularly good, it was a present along with a box full of old albums.  I'm interested in buying my first real turntable, and while I know most people would suggest in the $500+ range for starters, I've been told there are some decent tables in the $250-500 range.  I'd prefer to go new instead of used, which certainly hinders my options in that price range.  The stereo receiver it'll be plugged into, HK 3480, has a phono jack in the back, and seems to handle my current turntable nicely.  If at all possible, suggestions on Amazon would be helpful, I have some credit on there to help pay for it, plus amazon prime if that's an option for shipping.  I'm by no means a heavy vinyl user, but I'd like to improve upon that.

I'm currently looking at the Audio Technica LP120.  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002S1CJ2Q/ The reviews seem favorable, it can do 3 speeds which is a bonus due to me being somewhat curious about the new Jack White album considering it actually has 2 hidden tracks on the vinyl, one at 45 and the other 78.  It also helps that it includes the dust cover.  I know Pro-ject makes a few in that price range, and I've been told they're a reliable company.  If looks factored in, The Pro-ject RM-1.3 would be fantastic, although with the dust cover I'd be overshooting my range a little.  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009453HRU/

Any suggestions at all would be quite helpful.  I'm about as novice as it gets when it comes to turntables, so the easier it is to use, probably the better.  Thanks in advance!
