Hallo,
I have bought a Dual Cs505-3.
It was owned from an hifi enthusiast that used and serviced it until the day he sold it.
I could not find any solution to this problem, not on google, nor on this forum or on dual-reference.
The problem: please see the attached pic. Every time the Fly Wheel Rotor (in the pic, marked with "A") crosses the belt in the points marked with "1" and "2", it rubs and I experience a ticking, rattling noise (very annoying on LPs, during solo parts played at low volume, i.e.).
Solution attempts:
[*] I have oiled the the motor and the other mechanic parts
[*]I´ve changed the belt (that was new, anyway) with a new one from Amazon
[*]I've removed the belt and let the motor run without. The ticking disappeared. So it is clearly nothing about mechanic parts.
Could anyone please give me suggestions?
Does anyone know what that triangle (marked with "A" on the attached pic) is?
Thanks.
