Hello guys, I need some help here. I'm hoping the DIYers can help.

Just changed out the cartridge on my record player, and the pins are thinner that what I had. Do any of you know where/which ones I can get for a Sumiko pearl?

My previous was an audio technica.

Thanks,

You should probably ask this question on vinylengine.com. However, a quick search yielded nothing to indicate that the Sumiko has incompatible pins with any other turntable.

i bought a sumiko olympia. the pins work fine in my Mofi Ultradeck, but they did not work correctly in my audiotechnica headshell that i had on my old SL1300 as a replacement.

Simplest solution: get a pair of pliers and just close up the female pin a bit, and the sumiko will fit just peachy. Once the sumiko is being retired, you can use a blade or something to just open up the gap again a bit. really not a huge deal.
