Hi STAX Omega friends,
Comments were made in this forum some time ago, which indicated, that one perceived shortcoming of the Omega 2 especially the very slight "harshness" in the treble may be due to the tube amp, rather than the speakers.
(Some user of course don’t call it a shortcoming, but attribute this to the extraordinary transparency of the sound)
Has anyone performed any tuning or tweaking on this amp ? E.g.: exchanging the tubes / valves against a different type/quality?
