So I purchased a Yamaha, mid-range MIDI keyboard about five weeks ago. I'm very happy with it. I don't know if this question seems off-kilter here or not, but I thought I'd go ahead and ask it.
The "Tuning" option on the keyboard lists how high or low the instrument is tuned in Hz. My question is such: what would be the best number of Hz to set it at (lower end) in order to replicate the tuning used in the Baroque era (so the harpsichord preset sounds more authentic)? It only allows you to go as low as about 428.00 Hz.
Any input is appreciated.
