Not sure if this has been covered, but just wondered what tunes
you all listen to more thru your phones then the home system. What tunes have you found "more detailed music on" that you didnt hear on your home stereo system. Take any of the stuff listened below and listen on speakers and then on phones and see what you discover.
So far
1. Larry Carlton-"Deep into it"
(speakers don't do the background bells and cymbals shimmers
2. Pat Metheny Group- Still Life Talking "Third Wind"
3. Toledo- Mestizo "Bahia" (truly a great CD, a tad hard to find but worth it). Great vocals in the background
4. Lyle Mays Improv for the Piano "Long Life"
(listen to the notes shimmer after he hits the keys".
I have found that any music that has background vocals, lot of intricate details in the background i.e bells, whistles, cymbal play etc , or was recorded crystal clear really make listening thru phones a treat.
