I have read in another thread that the power tube is not used in the circuit for the preamp out on the Woo Audio 3 is this also true for the Woo Audio 2?

Well, let us hope that the preamp output on the Woo OTL's uses the second half of the 6922 as a cathode follower. If they are taking the preamp output off the plate of the 6922, that would make for a pretty terrible preamp in many cases. Perhaps you should e-mail Woo and ask these questions.

A 6922 plate follower will just barely work feeding a 15k load with 3 feet of cable.
