Hi all,
A few tubes I received today are damaged (UPS). 2 of them are just completely smashed and luckily the seller has original receipts, for the rest, a couple of them have broken glass pieces inside, but when I put them in the amp, they still work (glowing). I am a tube noob, so here are a couple of questions ...
1: Has anyone claimed tube damage with UPS ? Any experience to share ?
2: Do broken pieces in the tube affect anything ? Should I bother to file claim for those as well ? I think they are stock tubes, so might be hard to give it a specific value...
