Tuberoller's Huge Cartridge Comparison Part 2

Tuberoller, I was just digging up this old thread...

Grado's high-end line actually consists of two lines, the Reference (high output) and the Statement (low output). And the tested Platinum cartridge ($300) is actually the Reference Platinum, not the Statement Platinum (all Statement-series cartridges are low output). And the Sonata ($500) that you tested was indeed the Statement Sonata (the Sonata is also available in a high-output version called the Reference Sonata).

And all of the comments of the tested Grado Prestige Gold cartridge ($180) also apply to my P-mount Prestige Silver ($150). And that's because the Gold actually began life as a Silver, only taken from the top five percent of a Silver production run. Likewise, the comments for the Prestige Green ($60) also apply to the Prestige Black: the Green was taken from the top 15 percent of a Black production run. And at $40, the Black is actually the cheapest Grado cartridge.

Tuberoller,

Do you have any experience with the Dynavector DV-20X? That's what I have on my HW19 MK3 with Rega RB600 arm, and I'm wondering how it would compare to some of the other DV's or Benz.

As long as we're revisiting this thread, how did you conclude that the 10x4 tracked the best? I'm curious because the 10x4 and JMW9 combo does not track nearly as well as I got from either a Blue Point or a Blue Point Special on a RB300 (w/o mods).

I know the JMW9 is supposed to fall down a bit in the tracking department, but if the 10x4 is really that good, then the JMW9 is really pretty far behind the RB300 in that department.
