Hiya

On my quest trying to find some new tubes for my X-Can V2 I came across these

They are relatively cheap, and... to my untrained eye look like they'll do the job but I don't think i've ever heard you guys talk about 'Edicron'?!?

I don't really wanna buy a dud... but if no-one else has ever heard of them I could buy a pair in the name of research?!

Thanks

I wonder why the picture is of a 5881... which is not compatible with the 6922. Never tried an Edicron.

If experimentation is what you're after, try the Ei Elite 12ax7E and Ei Elite 12ax7EG:

We'd all like to know how that one fares!

Yeah, LOL, I was thinking that little cylinder on the bottom would get in the way of most sockets... Quote:

I've got the EG's on the way...actually, I have a small cache of various different EG's on the way (8xEL84, 6DJ8's, etc.).

I got the Edicrons today (and... they do say 6922 on them

)

Would anyone be interested in a mini review after i've let them burn in for a while?

Hokie doke, When it gets to 24 hours of 'burn-in' time (just in case things turn really sour after that time - which I doubt) I'll share my findings

This sounds positive right off the bat.
