Would appreciate any answers or thoughts as to how best to maintain and use tube playing devices for the best sound & maximum lasting usage:
Specifically:
1. For a Musical Fidelity Tube Buffer will it produce the best sound if its on all the time but a much shorter life? If I leave it plugged off except when I use it, will it affect the sound but will it last longer?
2. Same question for the Jolida JD-100 Tube Player. WIll it produce the best sound if I leave it on all the time but will the tubes life beconsiderably shorter then if it was not turned on when not using? Will the sound not be as good if its off all the time except when playing?
