I have looked all over the internet for a direct answer to this question. I have so far found none. I recently got a Valhalla 2 and Vali 2 Amp's. I am wondering if the 6CG7 is a direct swap in the Vali 2? I keep reading about people swapping the stock tube in the Vali 2 for a Electro-Harmonix 6CG7.
I like to do this but its not listed as one of the tubes that can be used. I wasn't sure if it requires modification to the amp or is a direct replacement. I like to try a little tube rolling on the Vali 2 for now since its much cheaper. Then maybe start working on the Valhalla later down the road once have better bearings and what not..
