As title says , i am wondering what tube would give me a warmer sound with my dt990 and lyr2... Like i said on another thread , the dt990 was the cans i loved at the audio shop near where i live... But i ordered 600 ohm version since the headphone was 200$ cheaper on ncix. They sound different.. Way less bass then the 250 ohm version paired with wa7 fireflie at the shop... So its either the amp or the 600 ohm... Some people told me -3db under 100hz. Compared to the 250ohm version... Make sence to my ears.

So my im looking foward about changing my tube on the lyr2 (actualy stock one used ) or find a cheap 250ohm version somewhere....

I could always try to bring my lyr2 to the shop and try the 250 version and see if its bassy like what ive listened..

So anyway.. Lets start with the tube ...

Any1 know wich one would make the dt990 sound a little bit more warm ???

Also plz try to not be too much technical.. I just started in this hobby
