Hey guys 'n' gals..

So reading through some stuff on the web about tube amps it seems that certain tubes go together better than others. Does anyone have any recommendations for tubes that play nicely together ? My current installed are RCA 6BQ5's and a Mullard CV4004, and I listen mainly to classical and 70's rock rotating through HD650's, DT880's and K501's

The MG Head is a good amp and it responds well to a variety of tube options that Nick explored. It had quality control issues with the build that slowed their sales and popularity IMO but the ones that work well are a lot of fun.

I got mine from another head-fier and I love it, I must say. I'm not sure that this is going to be good for my OCD tho'...
