Well, I don't have the 325i, but I do have a RS 60, which I prefer with my Amity HPA 2 SS amp, even though I am a total tube guy. The SS amp just has more synergy with my SR 60 than my Woo3.

FYI, here are the recommendations that come up whenever someone asks this sort of question

:

ss:
Gilmore Lite - de facto recommendation
high-current Cmoy
ra-1

tubed:
eddiecurrent hd-25 - only transformer-coupled tube amp here; drives anything down to 25ohms with complete ease.
mapletree audio ear+ - kit or assembled both avail
earmax pro
melos SHA-1

i have heard that the wooaudio3 distorts with grados at normal listeninng volumes.

A 325i is on its way to me that will be paired with an EMP. Bitches' Brew will be one of the first works tried. I will give you a report.

For jazz, IME tubes are the right way to go. The unity of the presentation adds life to jazz recordings.

If going SS with the SR325i, definately get an amp with OPA627 opamps or the lower end equivalent. They are slightly bright cans, and will sound bright/painful/fatiguing with most of the Analog Devices (AD) line.

Tubes are the best match for those cans. The Woo3 does a very nice job with them.

(All IMO)

i LOCE my ms-2's on my tube amp.

they are also quite rocking on a nice ss amp though.

it may be some "coloration" from my tube, but they are soo liquid smooth on a tube. more tubes will be tested later on.

I've not heard 1 amp better than the RA-1 with the sr325i personally. Synergy is just obvious with that choice. I have not heard the gilmore lite yet though, so keep that one in mind

I have heard alot of good things about the RA 1 and the Gilmore lite so it will more than likely be one of those. Thanks for the advice.

Just a plug for my amp, the Solo. Wicked SS synergy with Grados, even though I think it was made with Senns in mind. Because it has CDO (Current Drive Output) it will always provide the right amount of current no matter what the impedance. Sounds slammin'!

I enjoy my 325is with my Graham Slee Novo and LD MKIVSE.
The LD MKIVSE smooths the highs nicely.
