Sorry if there was thread like this but I couldn't find it. So Currently I have SR325i and RA-1 amp for it, I would like to try tube amp and see how it drives them...any suggestions? or instead should I get RS-1 headphones? Whats better? Thanks

I have the same gear as you; Grado325i+Ra1 combo. After reading many comments from Head-fiers that the 325i love tubes, I ordered a Little Dot mkIII just yesterday. You can also use it as a pre-amp and I'm anxious to hear what the Little Dot+Ra1 pairing will sound like. I was sold on Penchum's review of the amp. LD mkIII

However with your budget I'm sure there are more possibilities. Or you could get the mkIII and use the savings towards a new source.

I think that with the exchange rate and after postage and taxes a mapletree should fit into that budget, iirc mine cost me £400 and change last year.

I have researched the same, but have listened to none. In the price range you mention, it seems the Woo 6 is your best bet. Follow the thread for Glow One, too, and see how it develops.
