If your amp has a dedicated low impedance output jack low level hum can be fixed with the addition of a couple 32 ohm resistors.

The stock tube doesn't hum with my 336SE, but other 6SN7s so far hum.

same, my stock tube died and no longer plays volume out the right ear, i switch to an elctro harmonix gold pin and now it hums like crazy...
