I got a hawaii trip coming up and would like to take my portable amp along for the ride...anyone have issue with TSA bringing their amps?

No problems. I don't even take my stuff out of my backpack. I've flown to Hawaii with my iPods and amps(cmoy, arrow) and within the continental US.

They're used to electronics, no worries. If they even look at it funny, let them listen to the rig...you just may convert them! (note: 'phones, not IEMs, lol)

I haven't had any problems with portable headphone amps either. I usually have a huge backpack chock full of electronics and cables and have yet to have a problem regarding any of it.

I travel to Hawaii monthly; have been for over five years now. I have never had a problem with iPods+amp (various). Never take any of it out of my bag. But my sandwiches are another story!
