I finally got a Darkvoice (first tube amp) to go with my K340, but the Darkvoice seems to have been damaged during shipping. The power switch is broken (is able to rotate 360 degrees about the base) and the unit does not power on (I can move the switch roughly up and down and hear a clicking noise, but it does not power on). Does anyone have any idea of where I can get it repaired? I already sent an e-mail to The Sound Well, which is only a few blocks away, but they quoted me a really high price. Can any DIY'er take a look at my amp? I'm willing to also ship the amp if I need to as I'm dying to try my CD3000 and K340 with the Darkvoice.

That's a real bummer that it was broken during shipping. Don't you think you should contact the original seller and let them know? I'm in the bay area as well though I don't know much about the insides of the Darkvoice and I'm not sure if I should go poking around in mine. Sorry to hear that though.
