My total system setup is Audio-Technica AD1000X w/Audeze microsuede pads--->Little Dot 1+ w/Sparko op amp and RTC5654RT (rebranded Mullard 8100 for French military)--->NuPrime uDSD dac--->laptop.
Now I really like this setup, it's the best I've heard but just a couple minor shortcomings. I wouldn't mind just a bit bigger soundstage. I like the upfront vocals but the whole soundspace is never very big, 3d around my head yes, just not much depth and space. It's missing the lowest octaves. It's got decent midbass punch but I'm still aware it doesn't extend that low.
I prefer something I can use with the Little Dot, but that's not much of an issue. Trying to keep it under $500 or not much over. Open headphones, I doubt any closed could satisfy my soundstage desires.
