Trying to broaden out my musical tastes from just EDM.

Looking for artists, albums, and tracks that will introduce me to jazz, blues, and classic rock. Prefer to stick to classics than newer age in these genres.

If you need an introduction to the truly classic rock of the Rolling Stones, I'll suggest this:

You should have no trouble doing a search and finding the Google Play music store.

Right now, they have the Rolling Stones "Hot Rocks 1964-1971" on sale for $6.99. That is for 320 Kbps MP3 files of all the songs.

"Hot Rocks 1964-1971" was in effect a greatest hits double album, so it's really two albums for $6.99.

Here's the track list:

1. Time Is On My Side
2. Heart Of Stone
3. Play With Fire
4. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
5. As Tears Go By
6. Get Off of My Cloud
7. Mother's Little Helper
8. 19th Nervous Breakdown
9. Paint It, Black
10. Under My Thumb
11. Ruby Tuesday
12. Let's Spend The Night Together
13. Jumpin' Jack Flash
14. Street Fighting Man
15. Sympathy For The Devil
16. Honky Tonk Women
17. Gimme Shelter
18. Midnight Rambler (Live)
19. You Can't Always Get What You Want
20. Brown Sugar
21. Wild Horses

I don't think I've ever seen a digital version of this double album on sale, legally, of this quality, this cheap. These are some of the most groundbreaking and fantastic rock 'n roll songs ever recorded period. For $6.99, this is an excellent chance to own them in high quality, legally, and cheap. It is in my opinion a perfect introduction to The Stones.

Thanks for the suggestions. Buy all my music from Google Music, so I bought the album mentioned above and some from the artists in the previous posts.

Keep the recommendations coming.

Since you are buying your music from Google Play and you asked about Blues music recommendations, then do not miss this one that they have on sale for $3.99 right now:

You can read the album introduction on Google Play. This is just fantastic and classic Blues!

Jazz    I just bought Brubeck  " Last Time out."  really enjoying it.

classic rock     early Chicago.   "Chicago Transit Authority".  delete free form guitar.  The second Chicago Album is also a good choice.

Blues.   Abert King with Stevie Ray Vaughn  get two classic blues men on the same album.  I would also suggest Willie Dixon   "I am the Blues"
