If you're going to be around Kaikoura for a few days, you've got to try Kaikoura beef and their Green-Lipped Mussel

One thing you shouldn't expect while in NZ is fast service, it is not unusual to wait up to 45 mins for breakfast/lunch/dinner to arrive at your table after ordering it.....at least this was my experience

I'm back from touring South Island. It is a beautiful place. The wildlife is so cool. I didn't have time for any bungee jumping, caving, hiking, jetboating....

reason to go back for sure. Even with my crap camera and crap skills, it looked nice.

We stayed in Dunedin and Christchurch as well. It is such a different lifestyle from Southern California. Not sure where you all buy your hifi gear from though!

I've seen all those three things too! :-D. Did you go on some kind of tour, like the Kiwi Experience? Glad to hear you had a good time. I so want to go back there too.
