I've finally got together a half decent system, a bit old, but hardly matters really does it??

Trichord Genesis CD
Densen Beat B 100 integrated amp.
Triangle Comete E speakers

My next purchase will be interconnects, but not sure what to go for. I don't want to spend silly money. £30-40 for speaker cable (4 metres) should do it.

My speakers have a very detailed mid range and a very bright treble. CD and amp: very warm and open.
How do I choose cables? I'm thinking about Van den Hul.
I'm also confused whether to choose silver or copper?

G'day. try Zu Oxyfuel. They can be brought cheap off ebay and are really really good for the price. Or try DIY, i recently made pure silver litz braided interconnects and they are amazing. However some systems are not the best with pure silver. Go the Zu..

Since posting this, I've found a few interesting articles about cables.

Basically making my own seems like the best idea, but not sure if I want the hassle. I'll check out those cables

You will soon learn wire is a very controversial topic. Take opinions on board but in the end your ears will tell u what u like.
