Ordered one, seems to be a pretty nice deal and an interesting product as far as the specs are concerned.

Just got the TK2 a couple of days back. Currently in the process of enjoying it while its being broken in. One thing of note is that the transients are audably blocky without upsampling to 192k. Makes precussion loose its texture and esp drums with the lack of bottom skin sound. Otherwise its a wonderful portable brick. The slight 2khz,4khz and 7khz bumps can make vocals sound pretty big as compared to my destop rig (smsl M500->cayin iha6). Its a really good compliment to TRI's own iems but just be warned that vocals may be a tad over emphasised on iems like the OG Hana.

So far the only other issue I have is that it struggles to drive the upper treble section of the R70X.

Other then those minor issues I have no complains about the wonderful amount of detail that the TK2 is able to reproduce. Generally Stage wise its abit biased towards vocals and not eveny distributed but there is still proper negative space between instruments even though mids focus instruments tend to sound larger then others in the mix.

All in all if you are looking for a vocal focused speedy fast decay portable dac/amp the TRI TK2 is quite a nice solution. Drives about everything that doesnt need alot of current well.

He6se might just be asking too much (edit: or maybe not, see below). Otherwise, i'd mostly agree. Detail is excellent (imo better than M11 Plus) and punch seems to be a strength. Vocals indeed seem to a bit accentuated, but imo nothing dramatic (admittedly, i'm very much into female vocals). A bit purist as far as features are concerned, but if one takes into consideration how good build and sound quality are for the price, that's probably asking for clearly too much.

I'll have to partially revise my somewhat lukewarm emebellishment of the TK-2 after getting more listening time with it. I really didn't expect this and tried it just for fun, but it drives even the Heddphone quite well. Good volume at ~50% from the 4.4 balanced, already getting too loud at around two o'clock on the volume attenuator. The sound signature doesn't seem to be too warm (just a delicious little bit) or 'limp', rather neutral with a little mid bass bump and slightly rolled off treble. Actually very similar to the Burson C3R. Comparable detail, dynamics and soundstage, too, but a lot blacker background and the ability to drive sensitive IEMs and headphones. The Heddphone did suck the battery dry in what appeared to be A LOT less than the advertised maximum of 9 hours however.

I'm wondering how does this compare to the RU6 and W2 dongle. Not sure if anyone did the comparison.

The clarity, detail and punch this rather affordable duo produces is almost ludicrous.
